RO La initiativa Palas Mall Iasi, noi, fashion bloggerii ieseni am acceptat sa marcam Ziua Internationala a Iei Romanesti. Prin tinute reprezentative stilului personal, am reinterpretat  ia romaneasca, integrand-o in tinute moderne.
- jeansi evazati sau drepti si platforme de lemn sau impletite;
- pantaloni scurti de jeansi,palarie Fedora si sandale gladiator;
- o fusta ampla din material pretios si sandale cu barete fine;
- fusta creion de piele sau cu franjuri si sandale cu toc stiletto;
- pantaloni conici la dunga si un brau traditional sau centura (o astfel de tinuta am purtat de Ziua Nationala  Romaniei si o puteti revedea aici);
Pana data viitoare ramaneti in tendinte!
Din Iasi cu dragoste!
EN At the initiative of Palas Mall Iasi, the fashion bloggers from Iasi have agreed to mark the International Day of the Romanian blouse. We have reinterpreted the Romanian blouse by integrating it into modern outfits using our own personal styles.
I believe every girl should have such a top. According to tradition, it  is considered a symbol of beauty, of culture and of our Romanian identity.
In recent years we have noted with pride that this piece of traditional clothing conquered the runways of major fashion houses and was adopted by local and  international celebs like: Emma Stone, Sharon Stone, Madalina Ghenea, Inna, Kate Moss, Taylor Swift, Halle Berry, Kourtney Kardashian, Adele and many others. “Ia” became a must have.
Its versatility is undeniable! It can be worn in modern combinations, classic, bohemian, glam and bold. Is perfect for all occasions, from evening events, walks with friends, shopping, picnics or even at the office.
I personally have so many ideas of outfits that the blouse could be worn with:
- flared  or straight jeans and wedges;
- shorts jeans, Fedora hat and gladiator sandals;
- an ample skirt of precious fabric with strappy sandals;
- leather pencil skirt or fringes pencil skirt and stiletto heeled sandals;
- office trousers and a traditional girdle or belt (I wore such an outfit on the Romanian National day and you can review it here);
- boots, leather shorts and a jeans vest.
As you can see, there are many matching possibilities and the ideas can be endless, yet I will stop here with suggestions.
I matched the Romanian traditional blouse with a plaid leather skirt, a pair of shoes with thick heels, painted in an ethnic mosaic pattern. As an accessory, I chose a beige envelope with wooden handles, retaining a  traditional handcrafted look combined with urban trend.
Special thanks to Restaurant La Conac for the gorgeous location!
Until next time stay fashion!
From Romania with love!

June 27, 2016Yes, Maria is my name 🙂 I appreciate you stop by and read my article. I do my best at least on feast days e.g. National Day, Romanian blouse day called Ie, Easter and so on to do something traditional. I find it important to stick to the tradition and not to lose our identity as a nation.
